A power purchase agreement (PPA) has been firmed between renewables developer Scout Clean Energy and Colgate-Palmolive for Scout's Markum solar farm in Texas, United States.
To be built in McLennan and Bosque Counties, the plant will have a capacity of 209MWdc, enough to power approximately 32,200 homes.
Scout expects to begin construction works this year, with Markum entering its operational phase by the end of 2024. This is the company's first solar project.
