EIC Consult’s services are the gateway for your company to both understand the energy transition and then position itself to take advantage of upcoming opportunities. A great example of this lies with a bespoke report conducted for a client specialising in fluid system products and services across multiple industries who wanted to do just that.

Willing to expand its current business and develop a future strategy amidst growing international pressure for decarbonisation, this client wanted to be directed down avenues of opportunity by the Consult team through a bespoke report.

The document focused on the current state of the energy transition sectors which were of interest to the client: ammonia, carbon capture (including negative emissions technologies), energy storage, hydrogen, and SAF-Biofuels-eMethanol within the UK and European markets.

In this context, the report included a summary of the trends, ambitions for growth, energy targets, government subsidies, which developments are currently being built and the pipeline of future opportunities, who the main players are (for both asset owners and proposers of new projects) as well as key equipment suppliers for these sectors.

Beyond the report itself, additional services were also provided: three presentations on the report were given to the client’s wider team, and, in the wake of COP26, a written update was delivered.

The client was so impressed with the work that this became a series of reports focusing on other regions.
