GE Vernova has been awarded a framework contract by Forestalia for the delivery of wind turbines for numerous projects in Spain. Combined, the turbines will sum up to 693MW of capacity.
According to the contract, GE will be responsible for the installation of 110 of its turbines across 16 different project sites located in the Aragon region.
Works will be carried out in six phases, with the first one, which includes the installation of 33 turbines in five wind farms, currently ongoing.
Thirty-three turbines will feature 101 metres of hub height, while the remaining 77 will have 120.9 metres.
